Last night I had the pleasure of attending the San Francisco Scion Fashion Feud 2010 Final. Imagine three highly skilled designers challenged to create a dress in an hour, sewing and slaving on stage in front of a hundred peering eyeballs. It’s like a live ‘Project Runway’, San Francisco style. Little did I know, the winner was picked based on the audience’s cheering. Unfortunately, I remained silent when they presented my favorite dress, and the designer didn’t win!! Boo. Next time I’m clapping my ass of regardless. I’m not a judgmental person. In fact, I think I deserve a tolerance award, especially when it comes to dealing with social rejects. But one thing I will not put up with is someone who dislikes a good chocolate chip cookie. The chocolate chip cookie embodies the simple, warm and fattening splendor that is America. You have to be a total assh**e to say you didn’t like them. Or one of those home schooled kids that’s allergic to everything including friends. Either way you are a sad case and I don’t want to know you. 2 sticks butter, room temperature

1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 tablespoon vanilla

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa

2 1/4 cup flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 cups chocolate chips

These are amazing and sooooo easy. Please try this recipe!!! In a bowl with an electric mixer, cream the butter, brown sugar, and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat well. After the wet ingredients are all mixed all all the dry ingredients like the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking soda. Mix just until everything incorporated. NO MORE!!!! We want light fluffy cookies not rocks. Once everything is mixed add the chocolate chip and mix by hand. Grease up your cookie sheet and drop your batter by the tablespoonful. Bake for just 10 minutes and bam! The best cookies ever.

2 pounds ground beef
1 onion, diced small
3 cloves garlic minced
1 teaspoon fresh oregano ( 1/2 teaspoon if using dried)
2 tablespoons Worchestershire sauce
1/4 cup cooked rice
1/4 cup ketchup
2 eggs
salt
pepper
onion powder
4 red bell peppers cut in half, seeds removed, poked with holes at bottom
For topping:
1 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar

The title is phrased awkwardly, but oh well. deal with it. Remember “the talk”? 2009 was a crazy freaking year. Out of all of the celebrity deaths, break ups and even beatings somehow we as a society still manage to have faith in celeb humanity.
