Can Pick Up Lines Actually Work?
There is something tragic about a guy using a pick up line, something so fervently cheesy that you can almost smell a hint of Havarti on his desperate breath. But there is a pretty big difference between a guy who uses pick up lines for real, and a guy who understands their inherent foolishness and uses them to be funny. The latter may actually work to their advantage! A few other things that might actually allow for successful pick up line usage is confidence (not to be confused with cockiness) and good looks (duh.)
